We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new build self-storage development in Welwyn Garden City. This is an excellent opportunity to take the lead on a well-defined project involving a steel frame structure with aluminium sheet panel installation and a straightforward fit-out of communal areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day site management and coordination of trades
- Overseeing construction of steel frame and external cladding systems
- Managing health & safety on site and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Monitoring programme, progress, and quality of works
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Ensuring works are delivered on time and within scope
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar new build projects
- Strong knowledge of steel frame construction and cladding systems
- Valid SMSTS CSCS Card
- First Aid certification
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
