This is a permanent position.
We are looking for a qualified and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join the facilities team at Radlett Hospital. This role plays a vital part in maintaining safe and efficient electrical systems within a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
- Fault finding and repair of electrical systems across the hospital
- Maintain lighting, power, emergency lighting, and associated systems
- Ensure all works comply with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
- Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately
- Work alongside estates teams, contractors, and hospital staff
- Participate in on-call or shift rotas where required
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
- Proven experience in an electrical maintenance or facilities role
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
- Full UK driving licence
- £40,000 per annum
