This is a permanent position.

We are looking for a qualified and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join the facilities team at Radlett Hospital. This role plays a vital part in maintaining safe and efficient electrical systems within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
  • Fault finding and repair of electrical systems across the hospital
  • Maintain lighting, power, emergency lighting, and associated systems
  • Ensure all works comply with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards
  • Complete maintenance records and documentation accurately
  • Work alongside estates teams, contractors, and hospital staff
  • Participate in on-call or shift rotas where required
Essential Requirements
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • Proven experience in an electrical maintenance or facilities role
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures
Desirable
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
  • Full UK driving licence
