Van Mobile Electrical Engineer

Mobile Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Up to £42,000 + Van and fuel card (temporary to permanent):

Exciting opportunity to work for a reputable FM service provider with buildings situated across London and the Home Counties.

Currently looking for a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to cover a number of commercial office contracts covering multiple sites in London.

This is a Van Mobile position and will require the successful candidates to attend a number of sites where he or she will be required to carry out PPM primarily but also reactive maintenance such as changing light bulbs, emergency lighting, minor plumbing, tap changes, and fabric maintenance.

There is no minimum qualification requirement for the role but an NVQ level 2 in plumbing or electrical installation would be advantageous.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary paying up to £42,000 per annum plus overtime and further training.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Carry out basic PPM and reactive maintenance
2. Emergency lighting maintenance, re-lamping, unblocking toilets, tap changes, fabric maintenance, fire alarm tests, sprinkler tests
3. Ensuring log books are kept up to date
4. Escorting specialist subcontractors
5. Assisting other engineers

Requirements:

1. City & Guilds – level 2 in a mechanical or electrical trade
2. You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
3. A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
4. An understanding of commercial building maintenance
5. Multi-skilled
6. Good communication skills
7. Excellent customer service skills
