Deep Drainage Groundworks Gang Required – Uckfield

Location: Uckfield, East Sussex

Rate: Negotiable DOE

Duration: 1 Year+

Job Type: Long-term contract

We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Gang to join a long-term project in Uckfield. The ideal gang will consist of:

  • 1 x Ganger
  • 1 x Groundworker
  • 1 x Groundworks Labourer

There is 1 year+ of work available for the right gang, so we are looking for a reliable and experienced team who can commit to the duration of the project.

Duties will include:

  • Deep drainage and underground drainage works
  • Excavation and preparation of trenches
  • Installing drainage and pipework
  • Working to levels and gradients
  • Backfilling and reinstatement
  • General groundworks and civils
  • Working safely around excavations and plant
  • Following site plans and instructions

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a deep drainage / groundworks gang
  • Ganger with experience leading a groundworks team
  • Groundworker with strong drainage and civils experience
  • Labourer with previous construction/groundworks experience
  • Machine ticket preferred but not essential
  • Relevant tickets where required
  • Full PPE
  • Reliable and able to commit to long-term work
  • References from previous groundworks projects
