A well-established building services consultancy is seeking a BIM Lead to join their team, based in either Solihull or Birmingham City Centre. This is a permanent, full-time role operating under an agile working framework.
The Role
You will be responsible for leading BIM standards and processes across projects, supporting teams through training and technical guidance, and ensuring high-quality model coordination and data management.
Key duties include:
- Implementing and maintaining BIM standards (ISO 19650)
- Managing Common Data Environments (CDEs)
- Model validation, coordination, and clash detection
- Preparing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
- Providing BIM training, mentoring, and technical support
- Supporting BIM process improvements and software implementation
Requirements
- Degree or HNC/HND in a construction or engineering-related discipline
- 4–5+ years’ experience in a BIM-focused role
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, CDEs, and workflows
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Solibri, and BIM 360 / ACC
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
