Senior Electrical Engineer – Solihull Location: Solihull Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience An established Building Services Consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing team in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to take responsibility for project delivery, work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and develop their career within a supportive consultancy environment. Key Responsibilities Lead electrical design and delivery across a range of building services projects. Develop designs from concept through to detailed design and completion. Produce and review electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports. Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants. Coordinate electrical services within multidisciplinary project teams. Attend client and design meetings, providing technical advice where required. Support and mentor junior engineers. Manage project deliverables, programmes and deadlines. Ensure designs meet relevant UK regulations, standards and project requirements. Requirements 5+ years' experience in electrical building services. Strong electrical design and technical knowledge. Previous experience within a building services consultancy. Experience delivering projects from concept through to completion. Strong client-facing and communication skills. Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers. Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services. CEng or working towards chartership would be advantageous.
