MEP Project Manager – London – Healthcare Project
A leading Tier 1 MEP Contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major healthcare project in London.
This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the UK's leading MEP contractors on a flagship scheme, taking full responsibility for the successful delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

The Role
As MEP Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination and execution of all MEP activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams, you will drive performance throughout the project lifecycle while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality and commercial control.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health packages from design through to commissioning and final handover.
- Manage project scope, programme, budget and quality to ensure successful delivery.
- Review MEP designs, technical submissions and construction methodologies for compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee procurement activities, including the appointment and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain programme.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, design teams and site management to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Lead commissioning, testing and project close-out activities.
- Manage and develop project engineering and site management teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice throughout the project.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all MEP project delivery matters.
About You
You will be an experienced MEP Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale building services packages on complex construction projects.
Healthcare project experience would be highly advantageous.
Experience Required
- Proven experience delivering MEP packages on major construction projects.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health building services.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Good commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, programmes and project controls.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced project environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working for a main contractor or Tier 1 MEP contractor.
- Demonstrable experience in a similar MEP Project Manager position.
