Day Rate: £250 - £280 per day depending on experience

Client: A specialist contractor who specialise in refurbishment and fit out projects who hold an excellent reputation across London and surrounding areas.

Project: My client are seeking a Site Manager with experience in fit out and internal refurbishments to run a fit out project within an industrial unit. Works include M&E installation, decoration, mezzanine flooring and sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Stand alone Site Manager reporting into a visiting Contracts Director
  • Management and coordination of Labour
  • Sequencing Subcontractors
  • Site safety which will include but not be limited to running daily inductions for Labour and Subcontractors
  • Management and coordination of deliveries
  • Procurement of materials and plant
  • Tool box talks and inductions
  • Site inspections
  • Arranging call offs for testing

The Successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in similar role
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
  • Relevant qualification in construction management or related field
  • CSCS card & SMSTS & First Aid
  • Recent workplace references
