Client: A specialist contractor who specialise in refurbishment and fit out projects who hold an excellent reputation across London and surrounding areas.
Project: My client are seeking a Site Manager with experience in fit out and internal refurbishments to run a fit out project within an industrial unit. Works include M&E installation, decoration, mezzanine flooring and sprinkler systems.
Responsibilities:
- Stand alone Site Manager reporting into a visiting Contracts Director
- Management and coordination of Labour
- Sequencing Subcontractors
- Site safety which will include but not be limited to running daily inductions for Labour and Subcontractors
- Management and coordination of deliveries
- Procurement of materials and plant
- Tool box talks and inductions
- Site inspections
- Arranging call offs for testing
The Successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in similar role
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
- Relevant qualification in construction management or related field
- CSCS card & SMSTS & First Aid
- Recent workplace references
