Job Title: Permanent Site Manager Location: Ribblesdale, North Yorkshire  Future Projects: Nationwide (Travel & Staying Away Required) Salary: Competitive + Package + Paid Travel & Accommodation The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to join a growing team on a permanent basis, initially delivering a major refurbishment of a leisure centre, followed by a new build project in a different location. The current refurbishment scheme includes: Full Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) replacement Replacement of pool filtration systems and associated plant Roof replacement works Structural alterations and strengthening works Internal refurbishment throughout This is a technically demanding project requiring strong coordination skills, particularly across M&E and specialist packages, in what may be a live or partially operational environment. Upon completion, you will move onto a new build project outside the local area. As such, we are looking for an all-round Site Manager with both refurbishment and new build experience. Willingness to travel and stay away from home is essential. All travel expenses and accommodation will be covered. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site operations from start to completion Coordinate subcontractors across multiple trades and disciplines Oversee M&E installations, structural works, roofing, and internal packages Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget Maintain high standards of quality control and compliance Lead site meetings and report progress to senior management Manage logistics, materials, and site documentation Maintain excellent health & safety standards Build strong working relationships with clients and consultants About You We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Site Manager who can confidently manage both complex refurbishment schemes and full new build projects. Essential: Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment and new build projects Strong understanding of M&E coordination Experience managing structural and roofing packages SMSTS CSCS (Black or Gold Card) First Aid at Work Strong organisational and leadership skills Willingness to travel and stay away during the week Desirable: Experience in leisure or public-sector buildings Experience working in live environments Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor training IOSH or NEBOSH qualification If you are a well-rounded Site Manager looking for stability, variety, and technically interesting projects across refurbishment and new build, we would like to hear from you.
