Are you a seasoned Site Manager with a passion for preserving history while bringing bold new visions to life Our client is seeking a proactive freelance Site Manager to oversee a heritage restoration project transforming an old hangar into a state-of-the-art go-kart track.

The Role: You’ll be taking the reins of a well-organised site that’s already running smoothly, so no firefighting here—just leading the charge to keep things on track. With a strong roofing contingent on site and ongoing restoration of a steel frame structure, this role requires a confident manager with an eagle eye for detail and a solid grasp of heritage site sensitivities.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing day-to-day site operations with a focus on heritage compliance

Managing roof replacement works, installation of new doors and windows

Coordinating trades, with roofers as the primary force on site

Liaising with heritage bodies and contractors to ensure standards are met

Maintaining site safety with a tower crane currently in operation

Requirements: Previous experience managing heritage construction/restoration projects Strong interpersonal skills—team cohesion is key SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications Proven ability to deliver on schedule and budget
