An established and highly regarded specialist façade contractor is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team.

The business delivers a wide range of façade projects across the UK, covering recladding, external wall insulation (EWI), façade refurbishment and new-build schemes. The work ranges from high-rise external refurbishment and building safety remediation through to large-scale residential retrofit and new-build developments. This is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to take genuine commercial ownership of projects within a specialist environment, working closely with operations, clients, subcontractors and supply chain partners.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account, including:
Managing project costs, budgets, forecasts and financial performance.
Preparing valuations, variations and final accounts.
Managing subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments.
Undertaking cost analysis across refurbishment, maintenance and façade works.
Supporting tender reviews and procurement activities.
Producing accurate CVRs, cost reports and commercial forecasts.
Assisting with contract administration and contractual notices.
Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and putting appropriate actions in place.
Working closely with project and operational teams to maintain commercial control.
Attending client, progress and commercial meetings.
Maintaining accurate financial and contractual records.
Supporting the successful commercial delivery of projects through to completion. xgikmsk
