A leading global engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their London team, working on an exciting portfolio of UK and international building projects, including high‑rise, commercial, mixed‑use, hospitality, and large reinforced concrete structures.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys complex analysis and design, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants exposure to both local and overseas projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural analysis and design of building structures using ETABS and other advanced modelling software
• Deliver high‑quality structural solutions for a mix of UK and international developments
• Specialise in flat slab and reinforced concrete design, including post‑tensioned slabs
• Prepare and review calculations, reports, models, and design packages
• Coordinate with architects, clients, MEP teams, and global engineering offices
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior team members
• Ensure designs meet all relevant UK and international codes and standards
• Contribute to project planning, design reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination meetings

About You

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in the design of building structures
• Strong proficiency in ETABS (essential)
• Solid experience in reinforced concrete and flat slab design
• Familiarity with UK design standards; international project experience is a bonus
• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng preferred)
• Chartered or working toward chartership (IStructE or ICE)
• Strong communication skills and confidence collaborating with global teams
• Ability to manage design packages and deliver work to high technical standards
