Job Description

We’re seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a brand-new care home development from the ground up. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile build, managing the project through to successful completion while working with a supportive and collaborative construction team.

You’ll be the driving force on site, ensuring programme, quality, safety, and subcontractor performance are all delivered to the highest standards, while building strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and your team.

Our client is a well-established regional contractor with over 20 years of expertise delivering projects across East Anglia, London, and the South East. With a turnover of c.£30m, they deliver schemes up to £15m, with a growing reputation for excellence in the healthcare, care-home, education and commercial sector.

From purpose-built 70+ bed care homes to complex healthcare facilities, their projects combine quality, collaboration, and client trust. They’re known for a people-first culture, both in how they treat clients and how they invest in their team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading site delivery of a new-build care home project
  • Managing subcontractors and direct labour
  • Driving programme and ensuring project milestones are achieved
  • Enforcing site safety, compliance, and quality standards
  • Coordinating with project managers, design teams, and clients
  • Building positive relationships with local stakeholders and the community

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager (or strong Site Manager stepping up)
  • Track record delivering new-build projects, ideally in care, healthcare, education or residential sectors
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
  • Passion for delivering quality projects and leading by example
