About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a high-quality commercial fit-out project in London valuing upto 20 million. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for site management, programme delivery, health & safety, and coordination of subcontractors to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities as a Senior Construction Manager
- Manage day-to-day site operations for a commercial fit-out project
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, drawings, and specifications
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and welfare on site
- Liaise with the client, design team, and project managers
- Monitor quality control and manage snagging through to handover
- Report progress, risks, and issues to senior management
- Ensure compliance with UK construction regulations and company procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager on commercial fit-out projects
- experiance on both Cat A & Cat B projects with cut and carve elements
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and finishes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight programmes
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation
- London project experience preferred
