Job Summary: The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Project BIM Lead in advancing the Structural Model and delivering project outcomes under the guidance of the BIM Manager. Compliance with company and project-specific standards, as well as the precise execution of BIM activities, will be paramount. As an integral member of the project team, you will ensure adherence to the Project BIM Execution Plan and execute all related BIM responsibilities as directed. Key Responsibilities: Work autonomously in defined areas of responsibility. Adhere to company and project-specific standards, following established methods and procedures. Verify the quality and accuracy of work produced. Meet agreed-upon deadlines. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure adherence to the BIM Execution plan and Project Standards by the project team. Utilize Revit to create and modify Structural Models. Develop, modify, and review 3D models using CAD applications such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and 3D Studio Max. Interpret and comprehend Architectural drawings and models, generating Structural Models, drawings, and details with guidance from a Structural Engineer. Model, draw, and detail structural elements, adjusting custom families when required. Generate models, layouts, detailed drawings, and schedules; produce visualizations from 3D models for technical reports, presentations, and marketing materials when necessary. Interpret verbal and visual instructions, implementing revisions accordingly. Assist in preparing technical documentation that accurately represents engineering and design intent. Prepare models for exchange and coordination with other disciplines, consultants, and contractor/fabricators. Demonstrate capability and experience in delivering projects in a dynamic, design-led environment. Qualifications: Industry-relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification; Professional Degree Preferred. Specific Skills: Ability to efficiently manage a diverse range of tasks, responsibilities, and commitments simultaneously. Effective communication skills – clear, concise, and receptive to instruction. Problem identification and communication, rectifying issues as instructed. Consistent production of high-standard work. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Familiarity with 3rd party BIM applications such as Dynamo, 3DS Max, Rhino/Grasshopper, Google Earth, Solibri, and Microsoft Office. Genuine interest in Architecture and Building Engineering/Services design. Personal Specification: A keen desire to learn and adapt. Self-motivated with a positive approach towards work. Ability to follow instructions accurately, complete tasks on time and unsupervised. Takes responsibility for assigned tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and to the required standard.
