Resident Engineer – West London – 12 Months – Outside IR35 We are currently seeking a Resident Engineer with experience in data centres to join an established design consultancy on a contract basis for 12 months in West London. The successful candidate will be based in West London and will work on a prestigious data centre project. Responsibilities: Manage the design, installation, and commissioning of all building services related to the project. Oversee the work of all subcontractors and ensure compliance with the design, specifications, and quality standards Liaise with the client, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standard Provide technical expertise and support to the design team. Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications Identify and manage any technical issues that arise during the project Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times Requirements: Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Previous experience in a similar role, working on data centre projects Knowledge of building services systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritize workload. Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and find solutions. Health and Safety qualification (NEBOSH or IOSH) desirable This is a 12-month contract, paying up to £450 per day depending on experience.
