We are offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor, working on a variety of high-profile projects. You will be supporting a commercial lead Senior Quantity Surveyor on a circa £40m Industrial & Logistics project in Bedfordshire, along with other exciting projects across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Cambridgeshire.
About the Role:
- Support the lead on a circa £40m Industrial & Logistics project in Bedfordshire.
- Overseeing one or two packages of your own.
- Report into the lead Senior Quantity Surveyor.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you should ideally have:
- An accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES), or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
- Alternatively, a degree with a focus on numerical or technical subjects is advantageous.
- Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor (QS) or Project Quantity Surveyor (PQS) in the built environment, particularly on large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
