This main contractor is a central Manchester construction company that is very well established and delivers a range of projects across the Manchester and Liverpool areas. Projects typically range in value from £1.5 - £12 million with a repeat client base.
The Quantity Surveyor role:
- Managing commercial activities on external refurbishment programmes and new build.
- Procurement and placing subcontractor orders.
- Pricing variations, preparation of valuations, negotiating and ongoing final accounting for subcontractor and client accounts.
- Cash flows and cost reporting.
- Attending project review meetings and client contract reviews.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
- Qualified to a degree level or equivalent.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and reporting skills.
- Some experience in facades / external envelopes would be an advantage.
