Skilled Careers is proud to be partnering with a fast-rising, circa £10m turnover main contractor making serious waves in the fit-out and construction market. With a growing portfolio of super-prime residential, commercial, education, and healthcare projects (both fit-out and new build) valued up to £5m, this contractor is now seeking a dynamic Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.
The Role:
- As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial ownership of your projects from pre-construction through to final accounts.
- This is a hands-on role where you will be deeply involved in:
- Procurement of sub-contract packages
- Drafting and setting up contract documents
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Working closely with estimators on tenders and bid strategy
- Liaising with site teams, consultants, and clients to ensure commercial targets are met

- Strong experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within a UK main contractor
- Proven ability to commercially lead projects over £1m in value
- Experience in fit-out and refurbishment projects highly desirable
- A proactive, collaborative, and commercially savvy approach
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and procurement strategy
