Project Architect / Job Runner – London
I am working with a leading Property Consultancy in London that is looking for a Project Architect /Job Runner to work on their expanding portfolio of projects, in particular defence/manufacturing projects.
The right Project Architect / Job Runner will play an active role in working on all aspects of these projects from developing concept designs, planning applications and developing technical delivery information. My client has developed an outstanding reputation amongst their clients and are often called upon to unlock the more complex and challenging sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects at various design stages concept, planning and technical
- Preparation and submission of planning applications
- Producing technical drawings and tender packages
- Design in both 2D and 3D
- Presentations to clients
- Liaising with other consultants and contractors
- Site visits
- Develop design concepts in collaboration with other team members
- Prepare Building Regulations applications in collaboration with Approved Inspectors
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experienced Part III ARB qualified architect (min 5yrs post-part 3)
- UK National must be a UK passport holder due to nature of projects (not dual nationality)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Be an experienced Revit user.
- Have worked on different scale projects across all RIBA stages
- Have Client facing experience/ ability to act in a Client facing role with support
- Confident job runner/ project leader able to chair/ run design team meetings include minute taking, report writing and able to drive co-ordination across multiple disciplines
- The ability to contribute to, and lead design packages.
