We are seeking a motivated and reliable PAT Testing Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys independence, flexibility, and the potential to earn well above average based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) across various client sites.

Expected to test between 350–500 items per day (or more).

Use your own vehicle for travel; travel expenses are reimbursed.

Occasional travel and overnight stays (approx. once per month, may vary).

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Earnings Structure:

£0.30 per item tested.

Average daily testing: 350–500 items.

Annual earnings range from £36,000 to £55,000+, depending on output.

No cap on earnings – your performance drives your income.

Ideal Candidate:

Must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

BS2377 qualification is preferred but not essential.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Comfortable with occasional travel and overnight stays.

Travel Expense Reimbursement:

Petrol Cars: First 62 miles deducted (£11.78), remainder reimbursed at £0.19/mile.

Diesel Cars: First 62 miles deducted (£9.30), remainder reimbursed at £0.15/mile.

Public Transport: First £11.78 deducted, remainder reimbursed.

Example:

100-mile round trip in petrol car = £19.00

Deduct first 62 miles (£11.78) → Claim £7.22
