My client is looking to appoint an experienced MEP Manager to oversee the successful delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health services throughout the construction phase. This is a site based role for a hands on MEP professional who enjoys being close to the works, driving quality and holding subcontractors accountable. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing installations, quality assurance, commissioning and handover activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all MEP packages from installation through to practical completion
  • Coordinate and manage mechanical and electrical subcontractors on site
  • Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or risks
  • Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure all installations comply with specifications and client requirements
  • Lead QA processes, inspections and snagging activities
  • Review drawings, technical submissions and design information
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with specialist contractors
  • Work closely with project management, commercial and design teams
  • Attend client, consultant and subcontractor meetings
  • Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across all MEP works
  • Support project handover and close out activities

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an MEP Manager, Building Services Manager or Senior MEP Project Manager
  • Strong residential project experience on large scale developments
  • Excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
  • Proven track record managing MEP packages through delivery and commissioning
  • Extensive QA and quality management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to challenge subcontractors and drive performance on site
  • Stable employment history and proven project delivery experience
