About the Role

The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading project teams and managing supply chain partners to successfully deliver compliant capital works and retrofit projects, ensuring they are completed to the required quality standards, specification, budget and programme. This is a senior leadership role with accountability for safety, performance, stakeholder engagement and operational excellence across multiple projects. Based in Bristol.

  • Lead project teams and manage supply chain partners.
  • Ensure compliant capital works and retrofit projects are delivered to required quality standards.
  • Oversee project completion within budget and programme.
  • Accountable for safety and performance across multiple projects.
  • Engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • Drive operational excellence.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including external façade, cladding and fire remediation works.
  • Strong technical knowledge of:
  • Curtain walling and external cladding systems.
  • Fire remediation and fire protection systems.
  • Groundworks and concrete repairs.
  • Experience delivering retrofit projects, ideally to PAS 2035 or equivalent standards.
  • Experience delivering capital works and large-scale programmes through subcontractor and supply chain models.
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills, including managing project managers and site-based teams.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations and associated disciplines.
  • Full knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Preferred Skills

    • SMSTS and strong understanding of safe systems of work.
