Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join the team on a long-term contract basis. The initial role will be based within a secured environment, working as part of a day-to-day reactive maintenance team. You must therefore be comfortable working in a secure environment and able to successfully complete the required security vetting.
The Role
- Reactive electrical maintenance and repairs
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Electrical testing and inspection where required
- Installing and replacing sockets and other electrical accessories
- General electrical repairs and remedial works
- Using power tools safely and effectively
Long term opportunities to work across a wider range of public and private sector sites, including hospitals, educational establishments, social housing and other secure environments.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working as an Electrician
- CSCS card
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Own transport and tools
- Ability to operate power tools
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to pass strict background checks and security vetting
A current DBS would be advantageous. If you do not already hold one, assistance can be provided with obtaining this.
