About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi Trader to join our busy Social Housing maintenance team. You will deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties, ensuring safe, comfortable homes for our residents.
You will be supplied a company van and fuel card.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a variety of trade repairs including carpentry, plumbing, painting & decorating, plastering, tiling, and basic electrical work.
- Diagnose and complete reactive repairs in occupied homes with professionalism and care.
- Undertake planned maintenance and void property works to an excellent standard.
- Ensure all works comply with health & safety regulations and organisational policies.
- Provide great customer service and communicate clearly with residents.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, time, and completed works via handheld devices.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and service-level targets.
About You
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader, Multi-Skilled Operative, or similar role.
- Strong competency in at least two core trades (carpentry, plumbing, plastering, decorating etc.).
- Carpentry or Plumbing qualification.
- Experience working in social housing environments (occupied and void properties) is preferred.
- Good understanding of health & safety practices and risk assessments.
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided).
