We are working with an established and respected regional house builder to recruit an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a 100-home traditional-build development in Strood, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Site Manager to join a well-run project and play a key role in delivering a high-quality residential development from construction through to completion.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the Senior Site Manager, you will be the No.2 on site, supporting the day-to-day management and delivery of the development. You will be responsible for helping to ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards, while coordinating subcontractors and trades across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Site Manager with the overall delivery of the 100-unit development.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site trades.
- Monitor programme progress and ensure works are delivered to agreed timescales.
- Maintain high standards of quality throughout construction.
- Carry out regular inspections and ensure works comply with drawings and specifications.
- Support site health and safety compliance.
