We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trader to join a social housing maintenance team covering Essex and East London. The successful candidate must have a strong main trade in either Plumbing or Carpentry, along with good all-round maintenance skills.
The Role
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance in social housing properties
- Using your main trade of Plumbing or Carpentry
- Completing a variety of multi-trade repairs and maintenance tasks
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out appropriate repairs
- Working safely and professionally in tenants' homes
- Completing jobs to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Maintaining accurate job records
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service to residents
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Multi Trader / Maintenance Operative
- Main trade must be Plumbing or Carpentry
- Experience within social housing, housing maintenance or property repairs is highly desirable
- Good knowledge of general maintenance and repair work
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
