We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a leading main contractor delivering a hospital project based in Bexhill-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a technically challenging healthcare scheme with a well-established contractor, offering a competitive day rate of up to £400 per day.
The Role
As Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating mechanical installation works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising mechanical installation works including HVAC, pipework, and associated plant
- Coordinating subcontractors and specialist trades on site
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality control
- Supporting site management with progress reporting and issue resolution
- Liaising with project teams, engineers, and client representatives
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor on large-scale construction projects
- Previous healthcare or hospital project experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
- Black or Gold CSCS card (required)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
