As an integral member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment across our facility. Your expertise will be key to minimising downtime, ensuring safety, and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems and equipment (pumps, compressors, HVAC systems, motors, etc.).
- Perform routine inspections to detect issues before they result in failure or downtime.
- Lubricate, adjust, and calibrate mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or equipment.
- Ensure proper setup, alignment, and calibration of mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety checks on mechanical systems to identify hazards, ensuring that safety features are working properly.
- Train and educate other staff on safe operating procedures for mechanical equipment.
