M&E Supervisor (Mechanical Bias) – £51,000\\n\\nHard FM | Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm | On-call rota\\n\\nM&E Supervisor (Mechanical Bias) to lead and coordinate Hard FM service delivery across a large, multi-site estate. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will supervise engineers and subcontractors to ensure mechanical, electrical, fabric and grounds services are delivered safely, compliantly and to a high standard.\\n\\nThis role would suit a proactive, technically strong supervisor who enjoys managing people, improving performance and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\nYou will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and performance of the Hard FM team, ensuring all reactive, planned and statutory maintenance activities are delivered effectively and on time. This includes:\\n\\nSupervising engineers and specialist subcontractors delivering mechanical, electrical, fabric and grounds services\\n\\t\\nManaging reactive works, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and small works through the CAFM system\\n\\t\\nMonitoring KPIs, quality, compliance and service delivery\\n\\t\\nEnsuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are met, including health & safety and compliance\\n\\t\\nCarrying out audits, condition surveys and asset checks, producing reports and recommendations\\n\\t\\nReviewing and approving risk assessments and method statements from subcontractors\\n\\t\\nMaintaining accurate records, job sheets and electronic documentation\\n\\t\\nManaging remedial and small works arising from PPMs, inspections and reactive calls\\n\\t\\nChairing and contributing to site safety meetings and compliance reviews\\n\\t\\nBuilding strong working relationships with site stakeholders and service partners\\n\\t\\nSupervising the grounds maintenance team\\n\\t\\nProviding cover for the Electrical Supervisor during periods of leave\\n\\t\\nParticipating in a 24-hour on-call rota for out-of-hours emergencies\\n\\t\\nWorking flexibly across multiple sites when required\\n\\nHealth, Safety & Compliance\\n\\nYou will play a key role in ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and audit-ready.

This includes:\\n\\nEnsuring COSHH assessments and risk assessments are up to date\\n\\t\\nEnforcing safe systems of work and company H&S policies\\n\\t\\nEnsuring statutory inspections, PPMs and compliance checks are completed to standard\\n\\t\\nMaintaining documentation to demonstrate full contractual and legal compliance\\n\\nWhat They Are Looking For\\n\\nA mechanical background within building services or FM\\n\\t\\nExperience supervising M&E or Hard FM teams\\n\\t\\nStrong knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance and compliance\\n\\t\\nExperience using CAFM systems and managing KPIs\\n\\t\\nA good understanding of health & safety, risk assessments and method statements\\n\\t\\nThe ability to manage subcontractors and small works\\n\\t\\nExcellent communication and customer-facing skills\\n\\t\\nA proactive, solution-focused approach
