Job Title: M&E Site Manager Location: City of London, EC4 Sector: Facilities Management Employment Type: [Permanent / Contract] Salary: £56,000 per annum + Benefits About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated M&E Site Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical and electrical services at a prestigious site in the City of London (EC4). This is a hands-on leadership role, where you’ll be expected to contribute to engineering tasks alongside managing operations. You’ll be responsible for supervising a small team consisting of one static engineer and one roving engineer, ensuring service excellence and compliance across the site. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day M&E operations across the site, ensuring all services are delivered to the highest standards. Provide hands-on support with engineering tasks when required. Lead and coordinate subcontractors and in-house engineers to meet project timelines and service level agreements. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies. Monitor and report on performance, budgets, and KPIs. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and resolve issues proactively. Conduct regular site audits and risk assessments. Support project delivery, including refurbishments, upgrades, and reactive maintenance. Requirements Proven experience in M&E site management within the facilities management sector. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND in Building Services, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering). SMSTS or SSSTS certification preferred. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time and within scope.
