A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an experienced Managing Surveyor to oversee the commercial delivery of major new build education projects across North West London. This is a key leadership position within a well-established business with a strong pipeline of secured work in the public sector. The successful candidate will take overall commercial responsibility for multiple schemes while managing and mentoring a team of surveyors across the region. Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading the commercial function across multiple new build education schemes
  • Managing and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Surveyors
  • Overseeing cost control, procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts
  • Supporting operational teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Managing client relationships and attending key stakeholder meetings
  • Identifying commercial risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Reporting on project performance to senior leadership
