I am currently recruiting for a fabric/maintenance assistant for a permanent position starting ASAP in South Kensington. The salary is £29-30k per annum.
To be suitable for this contract you must meet the below criteria:
- Have a minimum of 2 years fabric maintenance experience in a high-end hotel environment (4 or 5 star ideally).
- Have a background in general trades i.e. painting, carpentry, plastering.
- Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references from work completed in the past 5 years.
- Have your own safety boots and basic hand tools.
My client is one of the largest facilities providers in the UK and the successful fabric engineer will be based at a hotel building in South Kensington. The shift and working hours are 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Every 2 weeks you will be required to work on Saturday and Sunday, with 2 days off during the week.
Your duties will include but not be limited to general maintenance, changing lights, basic plumbing, flushing, making good, changing door locks, painting, assisting M&E engineers, etc.
