We are a leading Main Contractor specialising in complex engineering and industrial construction projects across the M1 to M25 region. Our portfolio includes manufacturing facilities, distribution centres, process engineering installations, infrastructure works, and large-scale industrial developments delivered for blue-chip clients.
Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and develop our quality management systems across multiple projects. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and industry best practice. You will drive a culture of quality throughout the business, supporting project teams from pre-construction through to handover. This is a regional role requiring regular travel to project sites throughout the M1 to M25 corridor.
- Manage and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor project-specific Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Review quality procedures, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and lessons learned programmes.
- Support project teams with quality inspections, snagging management, and handover processes.
- Monitor quality performance metrics and produce reports for senior management.
- Deliver quality training and awareness programmes across project and office teams.
- Collaborate closely with construction, engineering, HSEQ, and commercial teams to drive best practice.
- Promote a proactive quality culture across all projects and business functions.
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Manager, or Senior Quality Engineer within the construction, engineering, industrial, or infrastructure sectors. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Experience working for a Main Contractor on engineering, industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or infrastructure projects. Excellent understanding of quality assurance processes, auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence and engage project teams at all levels. Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the region.
