We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team working within the social housing sector. The successful candidate will carry out reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out all aspects of carpentry work including:
    • Door repairs and replacements
    • Kitchen fitting and repairs
    • Skirting, architraves, and flooring
    • Window and lock repairs
    • General maintenance works
  • Work within tenanted and void social housing properties
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and clients
  • Accurately complete job reports and paperwork

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter, ideally within social housing or maintenance
  • NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or equivalent preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own tools required
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
