We’re currently recruiting for a client-facing Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a prestigious commercial contract covering office buildings in Central London on a foot mobile basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to take ownership of electrical and mechanical maintenance, compliance, and service delivery in a high-profile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled PPM and reactive maintenance to ensure equipment availability
- Respond to BMS alarms and carry out emergency repairs
- Maintain evaporative cooling and domestic water systems in line with L8 standards
- Manage Permit to Work systems and ensure safe working practices
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with site procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation (task sheets, risk assessments, method statements)
- Ensure spare parts availability and support continuous improvement of site operations
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial building maintenance
- Qualified to City & Guilds Level 3 and 18th Edition
- Strong understanding of SFG20 maintenance standards
- Experience supervising subcontractors
- Ability to provide 2 recent work references
- Own safety boots and basic hand tools
