About the Role
We're seeking an experienced MEP Revit Technician to join our growing BIM team at a leading principal contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse, high-profile construction projects across leisure, commercial, residential, heritage, education, and public sectors. You'll take ownership of creating and managing detailed Building Information Models using Autodesk Revit, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary engineering teams to bring complex projects to life—from concept through to handover.
What You'll Do
- Develop sophisticated BIM models of MEP systems across RIBA stages 2-6, ensuring accuracy and design intent at every phase.
- Coordinate MEP design with external models and 2D drawings, conducting clash detection and implementing effective solutions.
- Produce comprehensive construction documentation including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and 3D models.
- Collaborate across disciplines with structural, architectural, and services engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain BIM standards and stay current with industry best practices and Revit developments.
- Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on MEP Revit experience.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and how they integrate into building design.
- Proficiency in Revit with demonstrated ability to model complex MEP systems.
- Experience with BIM coordination, clash detection, and clash resolution.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
