We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the construction and successful delivery of a residential apartment development comprising three apartment blocks:

  • Two 3-storey apartment blocks
  • One 4-storey apartment block
  • 34 residential units in total

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional with a proven track record in managing multi-unit residential developments, particularly apartment and flat construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of site operations from commencement through to completion.
  • Coordination and supervision of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Managing site health and safety procedures and maintaining compliance with all regulations.
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Conducting site meetings and liaising with consultants, clients, and local authorities.
  • Managing quality control, inspections, and snagging processes.
  • Ensuring all project documentation and site records are maintained accurately.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager on residential apartment/flat developments.
  • Strong understanding of modern construction methods and residential building regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence.
