Labourer

We are looking for a hard-working and reliable Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist tradespeople, help maintain a safe and clean site, and carry out a variety of manual tasks to support day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be working to assist in converting an existing building into apartments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting groundworkers, bricklayers, carpenters, and other trades on site

• Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment

• Preparing and cleaning work areas, including removing debris and hazards

• Mixing and preparing concrete or mortar by hand or with mixers

• Setting up site equipment, fencing, and signage

• Digging trenches and assisting with basic groundwork

• Carrying out general labouring duties as instructed by site supervisors

• Following all site health & safety rules and procedures

• Using hand and power tools (if trained)

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card (essential)

• Previous experience on construction sites (preferred but not essential)

• Good physical fitness and stamina

• Willingness to work in outdoor environments and in all weather conditions

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

• Basic knowledge of health & safety on site
