Skilled Careers are currently recruiting for an experienced Gateman to join a busy construction site in Sittingbourne. This is a long-term opportunity for a reliable and professional individual who is confident managing site access and directing traffic in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Controlling access to and from the construction site
- Directing deliveries and site traffic safely and efficiently
- Banking vehicles entering and leaving the site
- Checking visitors and deliveries in and out
- Maintaining accurate site access records
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
- Liaising with the site management team to keep traffic flowing safely
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card
- Previous experience working as a Gateman or Traffic Marshal on a construction site
- Traffic Marshal/Vehicle Banksman qualification preferred
- Full PPE
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- References available upon request
