We are currently looking for an experienced Multi Trader to join a social housing maintenance team working across Islington and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have a strong main trade in either Plumbing or Carpentry, alongside good all-round maintenance skills.
The Role
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
- Completing works to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Undertaking your main trade of Plumbing or Carpentry
- Carrying out a range of additional multi-trade repairs
- Diagnosing faults and identifying appropriate repair solutions
- Working safely and professionally in tenants' homes
- Completing job sheets and reporting works accurately
- Providing excellent customer service to residents
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader / Maintenance Operative
- Main trade must be Plumbing or Carpentry
- Experience working within social housing or property maintenance is highly desirable
- Good knowledge of general building maintenance and repairs
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
- Good communication and customer service skills
