We are urgently recruiting a skilled HR Administrator to join a busy, fast-moving HR team based out of Finsbury Park. This is an immediate requirement for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong view to extension and the clear possibility of going Permanent.
This is a high-volume desk—you will be running point on 40 to 50 active onboardings at any given time. You must have prior HR-specific administrative experience and be comfortable hitting the ground running in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End High-Volume Onboarding: Manage the full onboarding cycle for 40–50 new starters simultaneously, ensuring seamless candidate communication from offer acceptance through to day one.
- Compliance Checks: Coordinate right-to-work (RTW) verifications, reference checks, DBS processing, qualifications, and compliance documentation.
- System Administration: Input new starter records, update employee details, and maintain accuracy across the HR database/HRIS.
- Offer Letters & Contracts: Issue employment contracts, offer letters, variation letters, and onboarding packs efficiently.
- Day-One Logistics: Liaise with IT, payroll, and hiring managers to arrange equipment, system access, and induction schedules.
- General HR Support: Serve as a reliable point of contact for employee queries, escalating complex queries to HR managers as needed.
Candidate Profile & Requirements:
- HR Admin Experience: Mandatory. Must have proven experience working specifically within an HR department or busy internal recruitment team.
- High-Volume Capability: Demonstrable ability to juggle a busy workload, specifically managing high volumes of onboarding files (40–50 at a time) without compromising compliance or detail.
- Qualifications: CIPD Level 3 is desirable but not essential (relevant hands-on HR experience takes priority).
- Communication & Tech Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with good proficiency in HR database management and MS Office.
- Availability: Must be available to start at short notice / ASAP.
