We are seeking an experienced and reliable Multi Trader to join our team working across social housing properties. This is a hands-on role involving a variety of day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks in occupied and void properties. You will play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, functional, and maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance work, including carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting & decorating, and basic plastering.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently on first visit where possible.
  • Complete works in both tenanted and void properties.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service when dealing with residents.
  • Accurately record job details using handheld devices or paperwork.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Multi Trader or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Strong skills across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, decorating essential).
  • Trade NVQ Level 2 is essential.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience working in social housing.
