My client, a privately owned developer who is growing extensively in 2026, is looking to appoint a Site Manager for a multiple phased housing scheme based in Holbeach, Lincolnshire. The scheme will consist of 100 all traditional new build units.
This would be an ideal role for an experienced ASM, SM No2 looking to step up to a No1 and move away from a PLC.
Duties:
- Supporting the day to day running of the scheme
- Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
- Managing the day to day operation from piling - foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant, including material lead times
- Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
- Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
- Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
- Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
- Ensuring the development passes internal and external inspection processes
- Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
- Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
- Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approving stage completions to payments to subcontractors
- Ensuring customer service always remains of the highest priority with everyone on site
Qualifications:
- Experience of working on traditional build schemes
- Experience of being either an SM, No2 or Experienced ASM
- Working as part of a full production team
- CSCS
