I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established Property Services team. This is a great opportunity for a commercially strong QS who is looking for a senior position with genuine responsibility, leadership and long-term stability. The successful candidate will be working across a long-term property services and refurbishment programme, taking responsibility for commercial performance while also supporting and developing a wider commercial team.

The Role:

  • You’ll take a lead role in the commercial management of the contract, working closely with operational teams, clients, subcontractors and the wider commercial function.
  • Managing commercial performance across planned works and refurbishment.
  • Cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting.
  • Subcontractor procurement and management.
  • Valuations, payments and final accounts.
  • Contract administration and change management.
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Leading and supporting a team of QSs and Trainee QSs.
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered commercially and efficiently.
