We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi Trader to join our growing maintenance team, delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services across social housing properties. This is a customer-facing role where you'll carry out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance works, ensuring homes are safe, well-maintained, and completed to a high standard while providing excellent customer service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance in occupied and void properties
- Complete a range of trade tasks including:
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Tiling
- Plastering repairs
- Painting and decorating
- Basic brickwork and patch repairs
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate job records using handheld devices or paperwork
- Communicate professionally with tenants and colleagues
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and serviceable
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi Trader within social housing, domestic maintenance, or property repairs
- Strong skills across multiple trades, with carpentry as a core trade preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
