We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the construction of a 68-home residential development in Gravesend. This is a key role responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Full on-site management of the residential development from start through to completion
- Managing site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensuring all works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and building regulations
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and housekeeping
- Programming and coordinating works to meet project milestones
- Conducting site meetings and reporting progress to senior management
- Managing snagging, handovers, and final completions
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities as required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager (or experienced Site Manager ready to step up) on residential housing projects
- Strong background in traditional or mixed‑tenure housing developments
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
