Job Title: Service & Repair Engineer Location: Haywards Heath Salary: Β£40,000 – Β£42,000 + Van + schedule of rates + Call out – Engineers earning Β£75,000+ a year!! Contract Type: Domestic Social Housing Hours: Monday β Friday, 8am β 5.30pm The Role: The Gas engineer required should consistently demonstrate high levels of customer service and professionalism when undertaking statutory gas safety tests and servicing & repairing in accordance with the manufacturer\’s recommendations. You will be carrying out minor works arising from safety tests/servicing, ensuring all areas are adequately protected prior to commencement of work & Issuing appropriate safety certificates to tenants, to diagnosing any problems & faults you may find or are called to on a boiler, which would result in you fixing according to manufacturer and gas safe guidelines & instructions. The Gas engineer of course is desired to take respect in his approach to work, leaving areas in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each job Gas Engineer requirements: β’ Gas Safe qualification and suitable experience (2+ years MINIMUM on Part-fitting repairs, diagnostics & Breakdowns) β’ Qualifications including CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, WAT1, WAH1,.CEN1, CPA1 MET1 β’ A full UK driving licence β’ Experience working in a customer focused environment β’ The ability to undertake gas safety testing and inspection in accordance with current regulations β’ The ability to select and use appropriate supplied PPE β’ Flexible approach to working out of hours(Engineers earning Β£10,000+ a year extra on call out!)
