The Technical Manager will lead multiple projects in London and the south east and it will be the Technical Managers responsibility to deliver the projects to the agreed scope alongside the Commercial and Delivery teams.

Key
Responsibilities:
Lead the design management process for HRB remediation, faade replacement, and fire safety improvement projects from inception through to completion.
Coordinate and manage multi-disciplinary design teams, including architects, faade consultants, fire engineers, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and specialist subcontractors.
Ensure designs are compliant with the Building Safety Act, Approved Documents, relevant British Standards, and current fire safety legislation.
Manage the development and submission of information required for Gateway 2 and Gateway 3 approvals where applicable.
Oversee faade investigations, intrusive surveys, and technical assessments to inform remediation strategies.
Review and challenge design proposals to ensure buildability, compliance, programme adherence, and value for money.
Maintain the Golden Thread of Information, ensuring accurate and auditable design records throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage design risk registers and ensure all identified risks are mitigated and communicated to project stakeholders.
Coordinate statutory approvals, planning conditions, Building Control requirements, and stakeholder approvals.
Lead design team meetings and workshops, driving actions and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
Interface with residents, clients, freeholders, managing agents, and regulatory bodies where required.
Manage the production, review, and approval of technical drawings, specifications, reports, and construction information.
