Requirements: * Must hold a valid Blue CSCS Card * Must be able to provide references from previous employers * Valid ID/Passport * Full PPE * Tools If interested please apply with CV / Application below BIRM123INDEED Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Dry Stone Waller to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in traditional stone walling techniques, demonstrating craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role involves constructing and repairing dry stone walls using various hand and power tools, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Duties * Construct and repair dry stone walls, utilising traditional methods and techniques. * Select appropriate stones and materials for each project, ensuring quality and durability. * Use hand tools such as chisels, hammers, and trowels to shape stones for fitting. * Operate power tools safely for cutting and shaping materials as required. * Collaborate with team members on larger projects, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to timelines. * Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety regulations. * Assist in other masonry tasks as needed, including bricklaying, carpentry, roofing, or welding when required. Experience * Proven experience in dry stone walling or related masonry work is essential. * Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction. * Knowledge of bricklaying techniques and principles of masonry is advantageous. * Experience in carpentry or roofing would be beneficial but is not mandatory. * A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
